I went to the National Museum of Mexican Art with my friend. We were all very excited to see the art and learn more about Mexican culture. When we arrived, we saw a big sign that showed the different exhibitions that were on display. The first exhibit we saw was all about the Day of the Dead. We saw beautiful altars with candles, flowers, and pictures of loved ones who had passed away. We learned about the history and significance of the Day of the Dead in Mexican culture. After we finished looking at the Day of the Dead exhibit, we went to see the paintings. The paintings were very colorful and detailed. We saw paintings of people, landscapes, and even some abstract designs. One of the paintings was so big that it took up almost the whole wall! We were all amazed by how the artist was able to make such a big and beautiful painting. We also saw some sculptures and other types of art. We decided to start with the one on the fourth floor. The first exhibit we saw was all about paintings. The paintings were very colorful and abstract. We saw paintings of people, animals, and landscapes. We even saw some paintings that looked like they were from outer space! We spent a lot of time looking at each painting and discussing what we thought it meant. After we finished looking at the paintings, we went down to the first floor to see the sculptures. The sculptures were very interesting. Some were made of metal, some were made of wood, and some were made of other materials. We saw sculptures of animals, people, and even some abstract shapes. Recite: Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Professor Galina Shevchenko's studio, where she creates breathtaking works of art. Professor Shevchenko is a well-known artist who has been in the industry for over a decade. During my visit, I had the chance to see some of her newest works and learn more about her creative process. React: As someone who appreciates art, I was absolutely mesmerized by Professor Shevchenko's works. The level of detail and thought that went into each piece was astounding. I was particularly drawn to her use of color and texture, which gave each work a unique and compelling feel.      Last week, I had great experience in the Art Exhibit: Essential Workers. I have never been this place before. As soon as I got to this place, I followed my classmates for a quick tour. I saw alot of impressive art works. However, my most favorite art work is The Interchange crated by Sara Roberts. He used tulle, foaminsulation, and Paint to create a art work of conflict. 

          Last week, we went on a tour of Chicago's modernist buildings. All of us have good presentations on those building. We had a wonderful journey!         At first, we learn about the Marina City. It was designed by the famous architect Bertrand Goldberg and completed in 1964. The complex consists of two 65-story towers, each shaped like a corn cob, with unique round balconies. It was intended to be a self-contained community, with apartments, offices, shops, restaurants, a theater, and a marina.  Marina City was a pioneering example of mixed-use urban planning and remains an iconic symbol of Chicago's architectural history.
