  "Lovers under an Umbrella in the Snow" by Suzuki Harunobu (1764 and 1772).   The subject of this artwork is a couple walk on the snow under the umbrella. This art work  shows the artist's mastery of color, rendering the couple's robes in paired black and white, as "crow and heron." This artwork make me feel sad. It showed the love of this couple and it suggesting that they are going to kill themselves. Black and white in Asian culture means dead.

 My favorite color is red. Becuse red in Chinese culture means warm,happy,and revolution.  At Chinese new year, most of the chinese people will post Spring Festival couplets. The color of Spring Festival couplets are red and they means good wishs about new year. My favorite memories are posting Spring Festival couplets at Chinese New Year with my family. For this reason, my favorite color is red. Here is my favorite color image. The color of this blue and red. Red and blue are like a kind of contradiction. I think it means water against fire, evil against justice, and dead against life. For this reason, I love this image.

  I think this picture is very beautiful because it was showing me the fall in Chicago. It's colors perfectly show what autumn is. I think this picture is very beaytiful because it was showing me that the contrast between man and nature or buildings.
